Melva Palacios M.D.

      Dr. Palacios was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas and is a graduate of Edinburg High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Rice University, and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her internship and residency training in Family Medicine at the McAllen Family Practice Program. In 2005, Dr Palacios became a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Palacios is a member of the Texas Medical Association, and the Hidalgo County Medical Association.


Roxanne Perales, F.N.P.

      Born and raised in Pharr, Texas, Ms. Roxanne Perales is a graduate of Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North High School. In 2010 she received her registered nursing license from Del Mar College. She then graduated from the University of Texas Arlington in 2015 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2018 she attained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. From 2012-2018, Ms. Perales served patients and fellow healthcare professionals as a House Supervisor and Charge Nurse, Bariatric Surgery Coordinator, and Medical-Surgical Clinical Educator at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. She is recognized and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
